Even Britney Spears needs a little help getting rid of that pesky baby-weight!

The star was seen leaving the "Advanced Lipo-dissolve Centre" in Las Vegas this week and is said to be receiving treatment there in an effort to help remove her post-baby tummy. She was reportedly frustrated at how slowly the pounds were coming off despite diet, exercise and dance training.

Lipodissolve is different from traditional liposuction treatments. It involves a series of injections that are said to speed up the body's ability to burn fat. In other reports, doctor’s opinions on the effectiveness of the treatment varied, with some calling it effective and others saying it only worked about 10% of the time.

Though the centre boasts results, the treatment sounds like it comes with a price. This is what a website on Lipodissolve said about the administration of the treatment.

"...there may be some localized discomfort upon injection, and a minor burning sensation immediately following the treatment. Swelling will occur in the treated area, and soreness and inflammation may be experienced for several days after treatment. In some cases, possible localized bruising may occur."
